Very positive experience with this department...very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We're building our first home and the inspection and permits are coming quicker than what the rumors said. Had some questions and called today, the help I received was awesome. The lady who spoke with me was so sweet! Thank you!
Customer Service leaves much to be desired. They have major issues keeping people employed causing a snowball affect to cause major issues getting permit. They ignore Florida Statues on 30 day requirements for permitting. Most of the plans review is sub contracted out to a company that nit picks every item on engineering (misspellings??). Every inquiry with the county gets a different response. When you are forwarded to supervisors they never answer and you are left with leaving messages. They respond after hours to avoid the customers frustration.
Totally slow and inexperienced persons.
