If it was possible, I would give this no stars after the past year. This is not a review of the doctor, as I dearly love my primary, but the office itself. I have been going to them for five years and up until the past year and a half, I have never had a problem. And then this happened. Suddenly they were constantly over-charging me on everything, sending me bills that I had already paid and that my insurance had already paid. I would call them up every month as of May and nothing would change.
Impossible to reach someone. You have to call a week ahead to try to get your medication refilled. I've left several messages and no call back. Pami, the Dr, is great but the administration is terrible. They have no sense of urgency.
They just lost my entire family. We are looking into a different primary care doctor/facility and I would never go back again.
If you're ever looking for a call back, don't hold your breath. It won't happen. Ever. If you can make it past the miserable-looking/acting front desk staff, the providers are beyond outstanding. Even though I'm now insured, I still choose to continue going there because of the providers. From my experiences, the facility has always been very clean. I'm just always left with a bad taste in my mouth from the front desk staff. There's plenty of people out there who desperately need an income who can brighten up the place and be friendly, rather than walking in and being able to cut the tension with a knife. Someone really needs to get a handle on who they hire.
But the final straw that broke the camel's back was that my entire family went to the same doctor and I called to make an appointment for my mother every single day for two week's straight. I could never get anyone to answer and I would leave a message EVERY DAY and no one would ever, ever call back. She had a terrible ear infection that we ended up in a quick care clinic to take care of because of it. Even after that, with the 'follow up with your doctor' notes, I STILL couldn't get anyone on the line to just make a bloody appointment when she was sick.
This is the worst dr. Office I have been in 16 phone calls no one gets back to you. Still waiting for a prescription from 6 weeks ago. I will be finding a new dr soon this place is a joke.....dont go here ...
Doctor Abernathy took her time and paid attention to everything I said with understanding care and compassion. Very helpful.
