It’s a shame, the place has all the tools you need at a low price however, the customer service is atrocious. Just today I went in looking for a generator and had to deal with dismal customer service. I spent 15 minutes throughout the store looking for an associate that was willing to help and I did not find one. Fed up, I decided to check the back warehouse and lo and behold, there were three employees sitting around talking and laughing. I then asked, “Hey guys, quick question do you know where the generators are?”
The associate replied, “This is the warehouse, there are associates in the front ask them.” Which I replied, “There’s no one up there, which is why I’m back here asking you all.” She then replied, “They are there just go straight and take a left.” Listen, that isn’t the way to treat your customers. Instead, the associate should have simply replied, “Sir, you’re in the warehouse I’m afraid only employees are allowed here. The Generators are in ______.” Also, if you guys don’t want people going to the warehouse section of the store, close it off or put up a sign. It’s safe to say you guys didn’t make a sale today. I’d rather pay a little more and go down the Lowes than to deal with terrible customer service.
It is such a shame that this place has very poor, actually rude workers. We went in late looking for a part. The lady did ask us what we were looking for, told us the aisle. We informed her that we had already looked, she stated if it ain’t there then we are out of stock. So we looked again to ensure we didn’t over look it. We saw no open spots searching the whole aisle. In the meanwhile all the workers are up front gossiping. Then they started to make remarks (loud enough) of how they are closed. Then yells out to us that they were closed. Why don’t you help us find the part? If they could help us find it, instead of chitter chattering we could have been out of their hair. I know they told us what aisle but it is not like we know as well as they do, and to say if it’s not there it’s out of stock seems very lazy to me. As the store was empty. As we walked up I was shocked to see the manager, Barbara, was part of the crowd. She should have been the one to ask us. What happend to good customer service, instead of these rude workers? It makes a place disrespecting.
Great prices for tools but an ugly inconsiderate and incompetent staff. Don't come in here with questions or expecting any type of good customer service. Not really worth the trip unless you use coupons. Make sure if you buy product, you test it within the time frame for returns, a lot of it is returned product, repackaged for someone else to complain about.
I worked there as a senior associate, the place has good products.
My husband purchases quite a bit from this location for his construction company. We are always impressed with the pricing and helpfulness of the staff. We picked up a demo hammer recently, when the handle was not staying in place during use, they replaced it no questions asked. Always opt for the extended warranty! We have been to other locations but we always opt for bringing our business only to this location.
