The customer service at the Ocala, FL La-Z-Boy is outstanding! We are a die-hard La-Z-Boy family. My husband has never been without one. This store really worked with us when we ordered two matching chairs for a new house we were getting ready to build by holding the chairs for us until the house was completed, which ended up taking much longer than we thought it would. Then when the chairs were delivered, my husbands was defective (just didn't sit right). Even though we waited quite a while to contact them (our oversight...life got away with us), they took care of the problem right away. In the middle of this my husband had emergency stomach surgery and they rushed the repair so he would have his chair while recovering. Nina, from customer service/repairs was amazing! That lady is extremely professional and knows the meaning of customer service...almost unheard of these days. She is one great employee! I highly recommend this La-Z-Boy store!
My sales representative was knowledgeable and helpful. Delivery men were courteous, careful and helpful in placing furniture. Service staff was also knowledgeable and answered my questions. I've used Last Z Boy before and that's why I returned.
Lynn understood my taste in furniture and was helpful in steering me toward a sofa that fit my needs. She also made helpful suggestions regarding fabric.
Beware of bait and switch. Went into showroom in person to ensure correct product, and paid in advance. Upon returning to pick up, the wrong item was sent. Despite having a contract of the proper item and purchase price, they wanted me to pay an additional $250 for their mistake. They assumed responsibility of the ,mistake verbally, but refused to honor the price that was written in contract. Owner LEE WHITE was verbally abusive on the telephone, and advised me he did not care if he was leaving a customer unhappy, and did not care if he received a bad review. As a business owner myself, I would never, EVER treat a customer the way I was treated.
Charmaine was a good sales person. She was not pushy and direct in her suggestions to what size recliner we should buy. My husband is 6'3'. I am having it made up in a different fabric and I do wish it wouldn't take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery and this is not the busiest time of the year.
