I have been to the quick care twice in the last couple years. Once with my spouse for problems related to her heart condition and she was seen with in ten minutes in a very busy looking reception area. Recently I took my child for respiratory problems. We only had to wait a minute or two to be seen and the staff was very nice to her and seemed to care about the problem . More then I can say about other medical facilities . Thanks
Additionally, there appears to be some kind of bait and switch insurance game. I thought I was going into an Urgent Care walk in until they told me after seeing their physician that my co-pay would be $500 because I was in the ER ("see the sign on the door" she says with condescension after her series of condescending remarks prior to this). I asked upon entering if they billed my insurance and was told yes. I do not live here, so I am not familiar with the facility and the Quick Care road sign is misleading. What a mess.
I recently had shoulder surgery in this lovely institution. What a welcome friendly atmosphere. The pre op area and the surgical floor was staffed well. All staff members were very knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Their hand washing techniques were 100 percent which is so important.
Doctors nice, bad attitude with receptionist at ER. Felt really bad for the condescending way she spoke to people at the check-in, and the way she was belittling people. But the doctors/nurses were great once you got past her. Considering the renovation and money going into this place, I am surprised that there isn't more attention on people and process.

The most amazing hospital. I recommend west Marion oaks hospital to everyone. You won't be disappointed. I took my mom here because she's a diabetic and was close to losing her leg. The villages only gave antibiotics and sent her on her way. West Marion oaks cleaned, bandaged, and kept my mom there for about 4 days. She's doing great. Thank you west Marion community hospital.
One of the most egregious displays of patient disrespect, condescension, and lack of compassion, regard, and care I have ever experienced from a medical facility. The behavior of the girl at the front desk was atrocious for no good or obvious reason. I understand "bad days," but this was beyond reasonable and was abusive. I am shocked at how poorly I was treated here.
