My second visit was recently. I am experiencing some issues so I made my appointment. Dr. Jiron is comfortable to be around, which is nice. He knew exactly what to do (so far as my issue is still in the process of being handled) to help with pain and such without the need of narcotic pain meds, which is great. I really feel like he and the office are trying to help me and not just blowing me off like others may do.
The reason I was referred to this office is because I have a (so far) insignificant issue that I need to watch. My first visit was not exactly impressive. It was a couple years ago. I paid (because of insurance) $130.00 for the doctor to poke and feel my face then tell me everything is fine for now and to come back if I have issues or if my GP sends me. So, I left happy with the doctor's office but not with my insurance.
I had a severe ear infection resulting from swimmers ear. When I came to the office my pain was severe, my face was swollen and my hearing was compromised. The staff made sure I got an appointment very quickly, Dr Mercado was very considerate as well as knowledgeable. It took a couple of visits, but my problem is completely resolved. I would highly recommend Ocala ENT and Dr Mercado.
He went further and addressed my inability to breathe through my nose. It was a strange surgery, yet highly effective. I have received care here that I wish I had gotten from all my doctors. I highly recommend.
We have had our challenges with this office but I can see they are trying to improve. I hope that they will continue. If you should have a problem make sure to ask for Carol she fixed my current problem today.
I have been super pleased with my experience with Dr.Jiron and all the staff. Everyone is always in a good mood and very kind, and Dr.Jiron has been exceptional. I haven't been to a Doctor that seems to care as much as he does about getting me well. I also have to add that my sinus surgery turned out great! If your looking for an ear, nose and throat specialist, this is the place to go.
They took excellent care of my allergies. I spent decades with ineffective treatments. Dr Nadenik had me tested and came up with a treatment that virtually cured my allergies.
