Not enough teachers or teacher aids patrolling the area in the mornings. One child almost walked off campus this morning. Glad my mommy senses were on and I was able to help the poor fella. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Safety is EXTREMELY important when it comes to my children. Thinking about withdrawing them!

After reading the first review, it brought me to tears because I've also experienced some of the same neglectful behaviour from the school. My daughter is special needs and keeps getting suspended over and over again. One of the last times she was suspended before she was sent home with a letter stating that she no longer was districted for the school ( they can't make that decision on an child in IEP classes) they lied to my face telling me half truths about an incident that day. She had issues in gym class and they briefly went over her running from them, what they didn't tell me to my face and in the incident report they had me sign was that she ran off and made it 20 yards before the road. This was only two weeks ago. She kept telling me kids were picking on her, when I confronted the teacher and council, they told me they never heard a complaint. My daughter feels like she is different and has expressed that she can't act like normal kids... I didn't know where this was coming from, I pointed out that suspending her over and over again has done nothing but hurt her. When I mentioned that, they quickly became accusatory and belligerent. Please, if you have a child with special needs, find another school. This school does not have good or fair direction. She was also removed from a class room a couple of months prior to all this because her teacher at the time screamed at the kids and made it very hard for her to want to be there. I'm actually glad I will not be dealing with this school any longer. I urge all parents that have issues with this school and the way the teachers handle the students to speak up.
This school has been an awesome experience for my child. They truly care about your child and are active in guiding them through difficult times. My daughter has been attending college park since kindergarten and is now graduating the 5th grade. Thank u to all the teachers for being so great to my daughter. Special thanks to Ms.Powers, Ms. Brown, Ms. Hinson, Ms. Kobb, Mr. Eggers, & Mr. Anderson.
