Where are our tax dollars being spent?
I give 1 star because you apparently can't give No stars. I was at a red light and watched a car speed through the intersection as my light turned green. Across the intersection in the left turn lane was a cop. I watched the cop pull a u- turn behind me, as the car in front of me hit the gas and took off at high speed. The cop ignored both these blatant infractions and chose to pull me over and write a warning because my "tag light" was out. Good to know where the priorities are. Feel free to blow off red lights and speed limits, just be sure to check your license plate light. Well done Ocala Police Department.

I want to thank the wonderful dispatcher who answered my call just a little while ago. I can't remember her name because I was so upset and I couldn't process everything. She was polite, helpful, and worried about me as well as the person I was calling about. Thank you also to the officers who followed through on my call. Everything was fine, but it is great to know that we have law enforcement officers and personnel who are there when we need them. My mother was a dispatcher for 25 years and she would have approved whole heartedly on how my call was handled. Once again, thank you.
Maybe a thoroughly background & Full Proper Training can be extremely Enforced as officers' duty is to be Enforcers as so to serve & protect. With such a higher level of professionalism as expectations are expected obtaining rightously certified sworn officer of the Law.
I called several times - 4 times in one day after having a theft. No one called me back. Very disappointed in the service response.
