Nice park ! Dogs love it ! Benches for people and water for dogs. Separate sides for large dogs and small dogs.
Great place to let your dogs run free, and play with others. There is a large dogs side (over 15"), and a small dog side ( under 15"). Most people there are very nice. Use of the park is free. The restrooms, are a pretty fair distance away. Open sunrise to sunset, closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
Lots of room for medium/large dogs to run. Separate area for small dogs. Well maintained by staff, but watch out for poop that owners don't pick up (especially one daily regular with multiple dogs). Several poop bag/disposal stations located near entrance. Fresh water sources available. Beware if it has rained a lot, as there will be some pooling, which will make for a very messy ride home. Most owners and dogs are friendly. Closed Wed and Thurs to allow the grass to grow and for maintenance.
****Don't leave a valuables in your car****!!! - The first week in Jan 2017, several vehicle windows were broken and purses were stolen. [update March 2017] broken windows and theft appears to be a continuing problem. Lock valuables in your trunk - do not leave them out and clearly visible.
Dogs are mostly all nice, covered area for sitting and chatting with others, large space for big dogs and one for small dogs
We enjoyed this park and so did our fur baby. Plenty of water access. Had tennis balls and frisbees there as well as a splash pad. We will be back!
